Greenman Brothers (1985–90) Melville Corporation (1990) Circus World (originally Child's World) was a toy store chain started and operated by Sidney Rubin. The company was purchased and operated by Rite Aid beginning in 1982, and was later bought by Melville Corporation in 1990, when some of its stores were converted to Kay-Bee Toys.
Keller said he loved going to Kay-Bee Toy Store when he was a kid for action figures or to the arcade with his brothers. He was there in 1991 when two teenagers started to fight.
The first two sets of releases (Timeless Collection I and II) consisted of four offerings from FAO Schwarz, Toys "R" Us, KayBee Toys, and Target. The contents of the store exclusive sets was determined in part by the market the particular store served, so price-wise the spread was Target, Toys, KayBee then FAO on the high end.
