A telephone number in Belgium is a sequence of nine or ten digits dialed on a telephone to make a call on the Belgian telephone network. Belgium is under a full number dialing plan, meaning that the full national number must be dialed for all calls, while it retains the trunk code, '0', for all national dialling.

Before 1993, telephone numbers would consist either of a two-digit area code and a six-digit subscriber number in cities and large towns, for example, (02) 412702 in Oslo, [1] or a three-digit area code and a five-digit subscriber number in smaller towns, for example, (034) 83000 in Larvik.
Many countries have acknowledged the use of the IMEI in reducing the effect of mobile phone thefts. For example, in the United Kingdom, under the Mobile Telephones (Re-programming) Act, changing the IMEI of a phone, or possessing equipment that can change it, is considered an offence under some circumstances.
Taiwan mobile phone numbers begin in three digits ranging 090~098 with a total length of 10 digits: 09X followed by 7 digits (e.g. 092 1234567). When calling a Taiwan landline phone number using a local Taiwan mobile phone, the 0 prefix for the area code must be included (e.g. area code with 0 prefix included + 8 digit landline number).
Today (since 1989) the same telephone number is dialed in Denmark, regardless of where you call from, but the dialling information is still in principle at the forefront of the number. Numbers beginning with 20-31 are preferably mobile numbers, those beginning with 70 and 72-79 are preferably landline numbers, and so on.
