It states that the population will increase (from 26,000 apparently) to 500,000 in the very near future making it the fastest growing area in Ariz. That may have been some realtors pipe dream in 2006 when this article (ref.4) was written.It in no way reflects the post melt-down reality.
Kingman Grammar School is located on Pine Street and was built in 1928. The school is in the style of the late 19th and 20th Century Revivals. John S. Mulligan, Jr. was the architect and Pierson & Johnson were the contractors from Phoenix, Arizona. It replaced the Little Red Schoolhouse, which is a one-room school built in 1896.
