William A. Loy (May 5, 1895 – June 18, 1982) was an American farmer and politician. Born in Livingston, Wisconsin, Loy graduated from Livingston High School. He served in the United States Army during World War I and then United States Navy during World War II. Loy went to the college of agriculture at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

The building was constructed in 1923 to house the city's library, which had previously been based in a Methodist church and the Old Fennimore House. Dwight T. Parker, a local banker, funded the library.
Wehrle was born in the Grand Duchy of Baden, Germany, on March 14, 1822. He received a common school education and became a farmer. He came to the United States on March 10, 1854, in steerage, having embarked in Le Havre, [1] eventually moved to Wisconsin in 1855 and settled on a farm in Fennimore. Wehlre died in 1886 and was buried in Fennimore.
