Awards. Multiple awards for his novels. David Allan Cates (born 1956), in Madison, Wisconsin, [1] is an American novelist and poet, and the executive director of Missoula Medical Aid. [2] [3] His work has appeared in a number of publications which include The Sun, Outside Magazine, The Montanan, and The New York Times Sophisticated Traveler. [4]
He then served in the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1959 and 1960 [4] and later on the Madison, Wisconsin school board. In 1973, Cates served as one of the lawyers on the House Judiciary Committee inquiry concerning the potential impeachment of President Richard Nixon because of the Watergate scandal. [3] [5] [6] Cates died in Madison at age 85.
Bob Landsee. Robert John Landsee (March 21, 1964 – January 20, 2024) was an American professional football player and coach. He played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers and was selected in the sixth round of the 1986 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, where he played as a center and guard for parts of three seasons.
