Piggott is a city in Clay County, Arkansas, United States. It is one of the two county seats of Clay County, along with Corning. [3] It is the northern terminus of the Arkansas segment of the Crowley's Ridge Parkway, a National Scenic Byway. As of the 2010 census, Piggott's population was 3,849. [4]

U.S. Route 49 passes through the center of Marmaduke, leading northeast 16 miles (26 km) to Piggott and southwest 10 miles (16 km) to Paragould, the Greene County seat. Arkansas Highway 34 crosses US 49 in the center of town; it leads east 5 miles (8 km) to Arkansas Highway 139 at Fritz and west 7 miles (11 km) to Lafe.

Designated CP. November 4, 2009. The Piggott Post Office is located at 119 North 3rd Street in central Piggott, Arkansas. It is a single-story brick building, with a flat roof that has an encircling parapet, and a concrete foundation. Construction on the building took place mostly in 1937, but was not completed until 1941.
