The 2015 South Florida Bulls football team represented the University of South Florida (USF) in the 2015 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The 2015 college football season was the 19th season for the Bulls, and their third as a member of the American Athletic Conference (The American), this season joining the newly formed East Division.

On December 7, 2016, Willie Taggart was announced as Oregon's new head coach, a position that was vacant after the firing of Mark Helfrich on November 29, 2016. Led by interim coach T. J. Weist, the Bulls ended their season with a 46–39 OT victory over South Carolina in the Birmingham Bowl on December 29, 2016.
Taggart says he's "not bitter" about his early ouster at Florida State. He's just eager to start his next chapter.
