Ed Thompson (Wisconsin politician) Allan Edward " Ed " Thompson (December 25, 1944 – October 22, 2011) was an American businessman and politician. He served as Mayor of Tomah, Wisconsin for two non-consecutive terms, and was the Libertarian candidate for Governor of Wisconsin in 2002, receiving nearly 11% of the vote in that race.

Gillett in 1855 [3] [4] and incorporated as a city in 1883, [5] but the charter was not issued until 1894. [6] It is named after Thomas Carron (ca. 1752–1817), a trader at Green Bay who had integrated into the Menominee tribe. [7]
Biography. Torgerson was born November 7, 1875, in Oleesen, Norway, and after entering the navy he was sent as an Gunner's Mate Third Class to China to fight in the Boxer Rebellion. [1] [2] He died June 12, 1935, and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, in Arlington, Virginia. [3] His wife, Marie Larsen Torgerson is buried with him.
