To maintain the security of your account while accessing AOL Mail through third-party apps, it's necessary to keep your connection settings updated. An email was sent to our customers in 2017 warning that AOL Mail would no longer be accessible through third-party apps if connection settings weren't updated by November 7, 2017.
If you use a 3rd-party email app to access your AOL Mail account, you may need a special code to give that app permission to access your AOL account. Learn how to create and delete app passwords.
1. From AOL Mail, click the Contacts icon. 2. Click on the contact's name. 3. Click the More options icon | Edit contact. 4. Make any changes you want to the contact's info.
