State Highway 339 (SH 339) is a state highway that runs from just south of Freer in southern Texas southeast and south to a point midway between Falfurrias and Hebbronville. History [ edit ] The route was originally designated on January 14, 1941, as the part of the highway from Freer to a point approximately ten miles south of Benavides.
The Utes, along with the Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, New Mexico, and Wyoming decided to form the Western Athletic Conference. The highly competitive conference made it far more difficult for the Utes to win, as Gardner struggled in the first three years of the conference's formation. During that span the Utes would go 12–14, 19–9 and 17–9.

The 339th Regiment was created in June 1918, composed mainly of young draftees, for the purpose of fighting on the Western Front in France. Most of the 4,487 men were from Michigan, but some 500 draftees from Wisconsin were included. It was commonly referred to as "Detroit's Own".
