The entire line between Fivay Junction and Brooksville was opened for operation January 1, 1908. In the construction of road between Tampa and Fivay Junction and the reconstruction and construction of the entire 19 miles between Fivay Junction and Brooksville, R. E. Cullinane and F. M. Sisk were employed as contractors.
