On August 25, 1977, a 16-year-old worker died from his injuries at Hershey Medical Center after being struck by one of the coaster's cars. On May 2, 1988, a 22-year-old man was injured after falling twenty feet off the ride onto a cement pier. He suffered a broken leg, pelvis, ankle, several ribs, and a punctured lung.
