Friedrich Weyerhäuser. Friedrich (Frederick) Weyerhäuser (November 21, 1834 – April 4, 1914 [1]), also spelled Weyerhaeuser, was a German-American timber mogul and founder of the Weyerhaeuser Company, which owns sawmills, paper factories, and other business enterprises as well as large areas of forested land in the northern United States.

Doukhobors at Veregin is a National Historic Site of Canada [1] located in the village of Veregin, Saskatchewan, and designated so in 2006. The site is also known as National Doukhobor Heritage Village.
The first two sites in Canada added to the list were L'Anse aux Meadows and Nahanni National Park Reserve, both at the Second Session of the World Heritage Committee, held in Washington, D.C., in 1978.
