Asao B. Inoue (born 1970) is a Japanese American academic writer and professor of rhetoric and composition in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at Arizona State University [1] whose research and teaching focus on anti-racist writing assessment.
Following his PhD, Chakrabarty remained in the United States and taught at Boston University before joining the faculty at Duke University in 1998. During his early tenure at Duke, Chakrabarty was the recipient of a National Science Foundation Early Faculty Award, the Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award, and the Humboldt Research Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
After postdoctoral research at RWTH Aachen University in Germany and the Chr. Michelsen Institute in Norway, she joined the Arizona State University faculty as an assistant professor in 1987.
