The Old Harrison High School was built in 1912 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. It was designed by architects Harry C. Schwebke and R.D. Pollard in Prairie School and International Style architecture. [1] The building served as the high school until 1952 before becoming the junior high through 1987.

Reedley is situated along the Kings River, downstream from Centerville. Reedley hosts several cultural festivals, including but not limited to the Reedley Fiesta, [11] and the Electrical Farm Equipment Parade. [12] Reedley is named for Thomas Law Reed, a Civil War veteran who gave half of his holdings to the township in 1888. [13]
Batesville High School is a public secondary school in Batesville, Arkansas, in Independence County. The school mascot is the Pioneer, and the school colors are orange and black. Batesville High has been awarded National Blue Ribbon School status. [3] It is a part of the Batesville School District.
In 1956, the school built an annex. The following year, enrollment for students was up to 1,738, which made Fort Smith High School the largest high school in Arkansas. During the school year of 1960-61, the Farnsworth Rose Garden was completed on the campus. Fort Smith High School was officially renamed Northside High School in 1963.
As of the 2008–09 school year, with the opening of Heritage High School on the site of the Old high school, Rogers High School houses 2,144 students in one building. With the recent increase in students, the Rogers New Tech High School has been opened as one of the high schools now in the Rogers School District.
