John Stephen Piper (born January 11, 1946) is an American Baptist theologian, pastor, and chancellor of Bethlehem College and Seminary in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Piper taught biblical studies at Bethel University for six years (1974–1980), before serving as pastor for preaching and vision of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis for 33 years (1980–2013).

Morton, Sr. in 1994 within New Orleans, Louisiana, [2] though it initially began as a movement within the National Baptist Convention, USA in 1992. [5] From 25,000 to 30,000 attended the first conference of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship in 1994.
