Vidyasagar Metropolitan College, previously known as Vidyasagar Evening College is an affiliate of the University of Calcutta located near Thanthania Kali temple in Bidhan Sarani, Kolkata (Calcutta), India. Founded in 1961, it is a Government-aided college that offers undergraduate courses.
The Metropolitan campus is located within the Bank of Ceylon Merchant Tower at Kollupitiya. Metropolitan campus only offer undergraduate degrees from the Faculty of Business and Faculty of Computing. After completing their first 2 years of study, students are transferred to the Malabe campus for further specialized education.
The college was noted for its development of innovative projects with private and public sector partners including Artrix the Bromsgrove Arts Centre and a Harley-Davidson European Training Centre that provided training for Harley-Davidson technicians from the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
