MSC Malaysia (formerly known as the Multimedia Super Corridor, and known as the MSC; Malay: Koridor Raya Multimedia) is a special economic zone and high-technology business district spanning the federal territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, central-southern Selangor and parts of western Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
This expressway provided fast and convenient connectivity between Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia and Putrajaya – the new Malaysian Government Administrative Centre, Cyberjaya – the core of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) and KLIA.
Cyberjaya (a portmanteau of cyber and Putrajaya) is a city with a science park as its core that forms a key part of the Multimedia Super Corridor in Malaysia. It is located in Sepang District, Selangor. Cyberjaya is adjacent to and developed along with Putrajaya, Malaysia's government seat. This city aspires to be known as the Silicon Valley of Malaysia.

The construction of the airport was done mainly by a few state owned construction companies as well as Ekovest Berhad – helmed by Tan Sri Datuk Lim Kang Hoo. It was created as part of the Multimedia Super Corridor, a grand development plan for Malaysia.
