Canadian Tire money, officially Canadian Tire 'money' [1] [2] or CTM, is a loyalty program operated by the Canadian retail chain Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC). It consists of both paper coupons introduced in 1958 and used in Canadian Tire stores as scrip, and since 2012 in a digital form introduced as Canadian Tire Money Advantage, rebranded in 2018 as Triangle Rewards.
In 1995, the bank issued the Canadian Tire Options MasterCard nationally with a reward program for purchases of products from Canadian Tire and, later, launched its Gas Advantage MasterCard product whereby the cardholder earned a tiered discount of 2–10¢ (in Canadian currency) per litre on gasoline purchases from Canadian Tire based on the previous month's gas purchases.
