The 1982 Auburn Tigers football team represented Auburn University in the 1982 NCAA Division I-A football season. Coached by Pat Dye, the team finished the season with a 9–3 record. Auburn ended Alabama's nine-game winning streak in the famous "Bo Over the Top" Iron Bowl, and went on to defeat Boston College in the 1982 Tangerine Bowl .

The Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League (OJBLL) is a box lacrosse league sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association in Canada.The league features twenty-five teams in Ontario, one in Quebec, and one in the Akwesasne (which straddles the two aforementioned provinces and New York) that annually play a 20-game schedule and four rounds of playoffs for the J. A. MacDonald Trophy.

Auburn went on to tie an undefeated Syracuse team in the 1988 Sugar Bowl, 16–16.
The Oakville Buzz were founded in 2001. In 2005, they were often thought to be next in line to win the National Title. These dreams were squashed by the surging Elora Mohawks squad in the League Finals. 2006 playoff run. Finishing the 2006 season 19-1-0, their only loss came at the hands of the Mimico Mountaineers late in the season.
The Blades started as a Junior C team, and made it to the Clarence Schmalz Cup Final once to compete for the All-Ontario Junior "C" title. In 1969, the Blades lost 4-games-to-3 to the Woodstock Navy-Vets. Oakville moved up to the Junior B level for the 1970-71 season, and joined the Mid-Ontario Junior B league.
