The suburbs and greater Cook County are not Chicago. As we know, the previous ban on "transfer" of ammunition within the City of Chicago was struck out with the passage of Chicago's gun store ordinance in June 2014. This will be a running list of online retailers who will ship ammunition to residents living in the City of Chicago.
This is my dad's Norinco 1911A1 that he purchased new from Mickey at Ammo Depot in 1993 (before the 1994 federal ban on its further importation). He still has the original box/paperwork, cleaning rod, bore brush, manual, holster, and two 7-round factory mags -- all in excellent condition. It's a cool gun that I'll inherit some day.
If it makes the haters on this thread feel any better both my dad and I have had many positive dealings since way back when with Mickey over at Ammo Depot and they are always fantastic! Shops like Mickey’s are the benchmark in which I judge other FFL shops. Ok there now order and balance have been restored in the universe.
