The Jaite Mill Historic District, also known as Jaite, [2] is a nationally recognized historic district in Cuyahoga and Summit counties in the U.S. state of Ohio. [1] The Cuyahoga County portion of the district is located in the city of Brecksville, while the Summit County portion is located in Sagamore Hills Township. [3]
Brecksville's major thoroughfares are State Route 21 (Brecksville Road) north and south, and State Route 82 (Royalton Road west of SR 21, Chippewa Road east of SR 21). Interstate 77 and Interstate 80, which carries the Ohio Turnpike, all pass through the city. I-77 has two exits in Brecksville and is the main connection to Cleveland and Akron.

Brecksville Reservation is the largest urban park in the U.S. state of Ohio. [3] Chippewa Creek flows through the 3,026-acre (1,225 ha) reservation, which is home to a section of the Buckeye Trail. Brecksville Reservation adjoins Cuyahoga Valley National Park. [3]
Soon after its creation, SR 176 was extended to Akron, routed with U.S. Route 21 (US 21; here part of Cleveland-Massillon Road), over SR 92 (Ghent Road), replacing it, and along Market Street with a portion SR 18 (at the time, SR 18 followed Twin Oaks Road from Market Street) to downtown Akron, ending at the High Street/Broadway Street couplet (then SR 5, 8, and 261, now just SR 261).
The Station Road Bridge, near Brecksville, Ohio, was built in 1882. It spans the Cuyahoga River between Cuyahoga County and Summit County, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. [1] The bridge was documented in the Historic American Engineering Record in 1985. [2] It was built by the Massillon Bridge Company.
