LG TV remote, DIRECTV remote, and Roku remote. All three remotes work properly across TV, satellite box and sound bar to control all functions as advertised in RF mode, with one exception. While the DIRECTV remote will perform all remote functions as advertised in RF mode, it requires line of sight (as if in IR mode) to the LG TV receiver port ...
Yes. I've done the reset thing. Now the sounds are different. Previously, I could sometimes navigate blindly to an app and open it and hear TV. Now, since it has been reset, there are no apps downloaded, but there is the sound for the sight impaired accessibility. There are voice prompts for what to so, but I can't really do any of them.

I will see 3 different behaviors: 1) normal behavior, I can see the IR signal clearly as long as I hold a volume button, 2) no signal at all, 3) a ...
Re: Voice Description. I have had this happen with my Rokus. Here is a simple step-by-step fix. Go to your Main Screen. Select SETTINGS...and then ACCESSIBLITY. Click on AUDIO GUIDE. It is at this point that you can TOGGLE it OFF or ON at this point. Hope this helps everyone suffering with this irritating problem.
In late May or early June this year (2024), I bought a 55" Roku TV, the Roku Pro Streambar, 4 Roku surround speakers, and the 10" Roku subwoofer. They're great, except that the subwoofer sometimes makes loud crackling/popping noises and a shredding-paper kind of sound. The surround speakers sometimes make crackling noises, too.
We recommend restarting the TV by unplugging it from the wall outlet and checking the status light of the TV to see if it's solid or blinking. We also encourage you to try another outlet. If the issue persists, kindly see @RokuCarly 's post above. Warm regards, Bernie. Bernie D. Roku Community Moderator.
